Development Assistant (Full-Time)

Position Summary
  • Reporting to the Manager of Donor Services, the Development Assistant will also provide support to the VP of Development, performing various administrative functions that support day-to-day development operations.
  • The Development Assistant is a direct extension of the Development Department and is a key liaison with donors.

  • Your day to day
Functional Priorities (including but not limited to):
  • Provide support to the Manager of Donor Services 60%
  • Provide support to the VP of Development 20%
  • Various support of development department operations 20%
  • General Requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail to manage numerous projects with multiple deadlines
  • Responsible for entering accurate donor data into Raiser’s Edge NXT, creating and generating gift reports and providing analysis
  • Flexibility to adapt to ZT’s revolving strategic needs
  • Must be able to contribute within a collaborative culture
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Must be able to maintain discretion with confidential information
  • Must exhibit a professional demeanor at all times
  • Must be able to work evenings/weekends for select specials events and be available for unexpected shifts
  • Ability to drive a golf cart
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), database software
