The Food Service Manager, manages all aspects of the John Ball Zoos' Food Service operation, with attention to guest service, product quality, cost control, and compliance with all Health Department and Michigan State laws regulating the purchasing and service of food and alcoholic beverages If you are passionate about food service and developing people, customer service, creating great experiences, and have a well-rounded food service background, you might be a great addition to our team.
Experience Required
- QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE FOOD SERVICE MANAGER AT JBZ Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or relevant field.
- At least four years guest service/sales/food service management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous proven successful management experience and demonstrated knowledge of health and safety food regulations and liquor control/serving regulations.
- Serve Safe Certification and TAM (Techniques of Alcohol Management) Certification, or ability to achieve certification within 60 days of employment.
