HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION
- The Administrative Assistant II provides advanced-level administrative support while handling a wide variety of complex administrative details.
- This position reports to a Vice President/Director/Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide advanced-level administrative support to assigned manager and coordinate priorities across departments and units.
- Schedule and maintain calendar for assigned manager including, but not limited to, setting complex appointments and travel aligned with strategic priorities.
- Operate and maintain various cloud storage platforms and other on-line tools to leverage systems and reporting for purchasing, finance, legal and other business functions.
- Positively and professionally represent the organization to all team members and visitors.
- Research, order, and stock office and specialized supplies.
- Coordinate, setup and prepare for complex meetings.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- The Philanthropy Administrative Assistant II will support the Corporate and Foundations Relations, and Government Grants team in donor cultivation and solicitation efforts.
- Ideal candidates have a keen eye for detail, excel at managing complex administrative tasks, and demonstrate a strong track record in world-class guest service and donor engagement.

JOB EXPERIENCE
- Advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative functions requiring broad and comprehensive experience required.
- Must have at least two years of administrative support experience.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma required.
- Some college preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing required.
- Ability to operate moderately complex computer software programs required.
- Ability to handle complex situations with a high level of tact and diplomacy required.
- Knowledge of Zoology and conservation issues is desirable in some assignments preferred.
