The Senior Business Development Partnership Manager develops, solicits, and closes corporate partnership deals, while establishing and nurturing partner relationships, that generate revenue for SDZWA. This position oversees a Senior Business Development Representative.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Pursue new partner relationships, including: building proposals, pitching/storytelling, negotiating and executing agreements.
- Oversee Senior Representative, coordinating inbound activation and sponsorship requests, and managing existing partners, including contract fulfillment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on partner opportunities.
- Negotiate and execute renewals as warranted.
- Represent SDZWA at industry or external events.

- The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is looking for a driven and strategic-minded Senior Business Development Partnership Manager to grow our partnership initiatives with national and global brands aligned with our mission.
JOB EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in national and/or global sponsorship sales, promotions or partnerships required.
- Experience in a zoo or theme park preferred.
- Experience in a not-for-profit organization preferred.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field required.
